PAPER TIGERS
I started working on the Paper Tiger line in the 1990s. My goal is to pay tribute to the origins of the HipHop Style genre by symbolically putting the art back in it's original cultural Subway context as a rolling visual testimony of expression. Illustrating the passenger cars is a social political metaphor for thoughts in motion, I also refer to this as "Train of Thought".
